Perspective

Last night, I lay on the love seat with my Doberman and had a complete meltdown while I held him and he had a seizure. So my second child, Neo, has Addison's disease. It's a genetic thyroid disease which manifested itself with some strange symptoms: not eating, lethargy,

and then, yes, the tremors. His eyes were wide and he'd look right at us as if to say "help me." I felt so bad, SOOOOO bad. Today he spent the day at the vet, getting an IV and steroids. He seems better tonight, but it's so sad that he can't tell us exactly what's wrong.

Shame on me for feeling sorry for myself earlier this week.
